I know that many of us use a dining room as a catch-all multi-purpose room. The photos above are from a house I consulted on for home staging. I would have preferred that they painted the orange-red color but that was not going to happen. We had make this bright color work.
By grounding the room with black trimmed rug and black chairs it balanced the bright color. It may not be ideal but it was a big improvement on the “before” room.

If the home is well staged, it will look distinguished and more consequential to the buyer. You will receive top dollar for your home; meaning that there will be less negotiation and a quicker sale.
